Company outing, Home
This year’s PLANUM company outing took us to the Turracher Höhe in the fall. It was a nice change of pace from the interesting city trips of previous years. In keeping with PLANUM’s philosophy, mobility was also the focus of our journey: From Graz Central Station, we traveled through the Koralm Tunnel and via Feldkirchen in Carinthia, using various modes of transportation to reach the pass—which, like PLANUM, connects Styria with Carinthia—at an elevation of just under 1,800 meters.
In perfect fall weather, we enjoyed the Three Lakes Hike on foot and rounded out the day with a cozy game night in the heart of one of Austria’s largest Swiss stone pine forests. The next morning, we took the Panoramabahn up the mountain for breakfast. The Nocky Flitzer provided a special highlight afterward—a 1.6-kilometer-long summer toboggan run with a “cruising speed” of up to 40 km/h.
Whether by train, bus, cable car, on foot, or on the summer toboggan run, as a transportation planning firm, we were able to experience mobility in all its forms firsthand. It was an all-around successful PLANUM outing that not only strengthened our enthusiasm for mobility but also bolstered our team spirit.
Let’s kick off the fourth quarter of 2026 with renewed energy!
