Cycling concept GU-6
PLANUM was commissioned by the province of Styria and the municipalities of the region “GU-6” to develop a cross-municipal cycling concept. Following the cycling concepts for Leibnitz, Hartberg, Graz-Süd-Ost and Voitsberg, we are pleased to be able to plan a cycling-network for the region south of Graz. The six communities of Feldkirchen, Kalsdorf, Werndorf, Wundschuh, Premstätten and Seiersberg-Pirka are to be connected to the cycling infrastructure currently being planned with this concept. This will provide the fastest growing economic area with a cycling infrastructure that is becoming increasingly important in line with the transport policy goals of the Province of Styria and the City of Graz with regard to sustainable and future-oriented mobility. The population of the communities already had the opportunity to actively participate by taking part in a survey on their current mobility behavior. On October 5, 2021, a workshop with citizens will be held at the Kulturheim Werndorf. We appreciate your cooperation and invite you to participate in the workshop.
