Company outing, Home

After the PLANUM team visited Prague last year, this year’s company outing went to Budapest!
As usual, we traveled from Graz by train. During a short stopover at Vienna Central Station, our Vienna office manager joined us.

On site, we first marveled at one of the most beautiful train stations in Europe, the Keleti train station, and in addition to the transport infrastructure on land, we also tested the infrastructure on the water during a boat trip on the Danube. In glorious sunshine, we went on a guided tour of the city including the use of public transport and got to know the first metro in continental Europe, among other things. 125 years ago, on May 2, 1896, subway line 1 was opened as the first subway, the idea having come from Mór Balázs.

On the way to the parliament building, this beautiful stone pictogram lay at our feet. We also walked along a street that had been traffic-calmed four times 😉 not only by a “no entry” sign but also by bollards, barriers and camera surveillance.
In the evening, we ended the day with darts and traditional Hungarian food – lángos was a particular favorite among our group.

Company outing, Home
This year, we once again held a strategy meeting in order to face new challenges and developments in the best possible way.

The focus was on analyzing internal and external influences, opportunities and risks. What vision we have and what requirements we want to fulfill. We also discussed current megatrends together and worked out our positioning in relation to them. The Genusstreffpunkt Höfer provided the ideal setting to reflect on the past year and work together on strategies and goals.

Thanks to our interdisciplinary team, we were once again able to gain exciting perspectives in this context. With many new insights, clear goals and a fresh, strengthened focus, we are looking forward to the current projects.

Company outing

Last Friday, we went on a company outing to a traditional wine tavern in southern Styria. As experts in the field of sustainable mobility, we naturally took the train to Kaindorf/Sulm station and covered the last few kilometers on foot. covered the last few kilometers on foot. The short hike had a particularly autumnal, almost mystical atmosphere due to the colorful foliage and light fog.

Once we arrived at the Buschenschank, we were served classic Brettljausen snacks, beetle bean salad and regional wine. The view and the good food made for a cozy autumn atmosphere and a relaxed end to the week.

This is the best way to welcome the weekend and be ready for exciting tasks next week!
