{"id":70595,"date":"2026-03-30T08:57:39","date_gmt":"2026-03-30T06:57:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/planum.co.at\/measurements-and-simulations-of-traffic-noise\/"},"modified":"2026-03-30T08:58:54","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T06:58:54","slug":"measurements-and-simulations-of-traffic-noise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/planum.co.at\/en\/measurements-and-simulations-of-traffic-noise\/","title":{"rendered":"Measurements and simulations of traffic noise"},"content":{"rendered":"An important part of traffic planning is the measurement and simulation of traffic noise (road, rail and aircraft noise).<br><br>Our sound engineering expert, Moritz Langbauer (see cover picture), therefore looks at the effects of new railroad lines and evaluates whether the noise protection measures implemented are sufficient for the surrounding residential buildings.<br><br>Noise measurements and accompanying traffic counts were also carried out along the B320 at various property boundaries throughout the day in order to evaluate whether and which noise protection measures are required due to the vehicle noise.
