{"id":60276,"date":"2026-02-11T11:43:05","date_gmt":"2026-02-11T10:43:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/planum.co.at\/status-update-smac\/"},"modified":"2026-02-11T11:43:05","modified_gmt":"2026-02-11T10:43:05","slug":"status-update-smac","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/planum.co.at\/en\/status-update-smac\/","title":{"rendered":"Status update: SMAC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: -apple-system; font-size: 15.0pt;\">We are in the midst of our SMAC (Sustainable Mobility for Airport Connectivity) research project to design and evaluate new transportation solutions for the pre- and post-carriage of long-haul flights.<\/p><p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt;\"> <\/p><p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: -apple-system; font-size: 15.0pt;\">At the last meeting, we conducted a &#8220;practical experiment&#8221; at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ait.ac.at\/ueber-das-ait\/center\/center-for-technology-experience\">AIT &#8211; Center for Technology Experience<\/a>: the team put on VR goggles and tested a realistic air cab simulator.
